ペトロが信仰を言いあらわしてから、イエス様は天をつなぐ鍵について、死と復活について教えられました。そして今日はその続きで本当にすごい場面なのですが天からの働きによりイエス様が栄光に輝き、モーセとエリアとイエス様が山の上で遭遇される姿を、ペトロを含む弟子3人が実際に見て体験をするシーンになります。またこの時、天の父の声も聞こえたので、弟子たちは気絶しそうな体験をしました。
イエス様はこの奇跡が起こるように、あらかじめ天の父に熱心に祈り求めていたのでした。すべては彼らが天の国とイエス様の救いの計画を理解するためです。そしてそのことは実現しました。
しかし、ペテロはモーセとエリアをイエスの王国を築くための働き手、使者ととらえ、イエス様を含む３つの幕屋を用意したいと思わず口にしました。まだ本当の王国の意味を理解していなかったからです。
これだけ実物教訓としてイエス様に教えられている弟子でさえも、天の国について理解することは難しいことでした。
私たちには今聖書と証の文をもって、大きな光が与えられています。救いの計画の全容について理解できるようになっています。
神の臨在があらわれたこのシーンを瞑想しながら、義人を代表するモーセとエリアのように、イエス様との栄光の交わりに再臨時に加えてくださることを今日も待ち望みたいと思います。
Since Peter has expressed his faith, Jesus told him and his disciples about giving the key to connect to the heaven to him, and death and revival of Jesus. And today’s scene is surprising enough that 3 disciples encounter that Jesus with bright light from heaven meets with Mose and Elijah from heaven on the top of the high mountain. As they heard the father’s voice from heaven, the disciples were almost passed out.
Jesus has prayed for what happened on the mountain miraculously for the long time, and this happened as the respond to his prayer.
But Peter said that we willingly wanted to prepare 3 tabernacles for Jesus, Mose, and Elijia to dwell on this earth because Mose and Elija came to the earth as workers to help Jesus to make his kingdom on this earth. Peter didn’t understand what the actual kingdom of heaven is.
It was very difficult to understand the meaning and goal of the king of heaven even for the disciples who received a lot of real-life lessons and experiences from Jesus directly.
Today, we are receiving much larger and bright light from the bible and Ellen G White message from the heaven. We can partly understand the big picture of the plan of salvation given from Jesus.
In meditating today’s glorious scene, I hope and pray today that I will join the saint and deep relationship with Jeus and father when Jesus coming as Mose and Elijia who are the representatives of a righteous person by faith.
